It's insane how much power these influencers have over young minds. I see kids in the ER all the time trying dangerous trends they picked up online. We need to do better at promoting critical thinking and not just blindly following these social media fads.

I get what you're saying, but blaming influencers for everything might be oversimplifying the problem. Aren't parents and schools also responsible for teaching kids to think critically?

I think saying social media influencers have too much influence on young people is a bit much. I mean, sure, they can be persuasive and all, but at the end of the day, parents, teachers, and role models still play a huge part in shaping kids' values. It's not like influencers are the only ones molding young minds, right? My niece loves those makeup tutorials, but she still values what her mom and teachers teach her.

Totally agree with you! Influencers are just one piece of the puzzle when it comes to shaping young minds. Parents and teachers still have a major impact on kids' values and beliefs.

I get why some folks are worried about social media influencers, but seriously, blaming them for everything wrong with young people these days? Come on. My little sister follows a bunch of them, and yeah, they have an impact, but let's not act like they're the sole reason for every problem out there. It's about balance and critical thinking, people.

It's not just about young people in one country; social media influencers have a big reach worldwide. Sure, some influencers can be a bit much, but blaming them for everything is a stretch. It's up to us as adults and parents to guide the younger ones, not just blame the influencers.

True, it's a complex issue. Do you think there's a balance between personal responsibility and holding influencers accountable?
