I don't think influencers are solely to blame for consumerism. I mean, sure they showcase products, but at the end of the day, it's up to us to decide what to buy. It's not like I see a celeb using a face cream and automatically max out my credit card. People need to own their choices and not just point fingers.

As a movie lover, influencers are like actors - sure, they showcase products, but they're not forcing anyone to buy anything. It's all about personal choice. We can't blame influencers for consumerism, just like we can't blame Tom Hanks for making me cry in every film. It's all on us to be responsible with our cash, not on the influencers.
