As someone who runs a small business, I gotta say influencers are way overrated. I tried paying for a shoutout once, and it barely moved the needle. Real connections and word of mouth still beat Insta posts any day. I'd rather invest in something with a higher ROI than some trendy influencer who might not even care about my product.

I get it, some influencers can be all about themselves, but I think it’s unfair to say they contribute little. I've seen influencers raise awareness for important causes and even provide genuine product recommendations that helped me make good purchases. Sure, not all of them are angels, but let's give credit where it's due.
