As someone who works hard for every dollar I earn, the whole "influencer" culture just baffles me. Some of these folks make a living posting selfies and shilling products. Meanwhile, the rest of us are out here working actual jobs and paying bills – where's our free trips and designer swag for that?

For real, these influencers make bank just by posting selfies? I mean, come on! I work my butt off at my job and these folks get free trips and designer clothes for what? Posting about their breakfast? It's a crazy world we live in if that's where the money's at.

I get why some folks think influencers have it easy, but it’s not as simple as it looks. Building a brand, engaging with followers, creating content - it takes time and skill. Plus, they've tapped into a whole new way of marketing, and hey, if it works, why hate?

I hear you, but a lot of influencers do get perks without disclosing they're ads, which blurs the line between authentic content and paid promotions.

I get why some folks think influencers get everything on a silver platter, but seriously, have you seen the amount of work they put in? Building a following, creating content, engaging with their audience - it's a full-time job. Plus, if brands are willing to pay them, clearly they're bringing some value to the table. Let's give credit where credit's due.

I get that influencers work hard, but isn't it about the value they're bringing? I'd rather see more focus on merit rather than just effort.

Totally agree! It's a lot of effort to keep up with that influencer lifestyle, and the brand partnerships don't come easy. It's a hustle for sure.
