You know what grinds my gears? Social media influencers being hailed as role models for young people. My neighbor's kid thinks life is all about likes and filters thanks to these so-called role models. Kids need real mentors, not just folks chasing likes and freebies online.

Social media influencers as role models? Give me a break. All they do is flaunt their fake lives, pushing products people don't need, and setting unrealistic standards. Young folks need real role models, not those living in a filtered fantasy world.

Honestly, social media influencers can be such a bad influence on young people. My daughter started thinking she needed all these expensive products just because her favorite influencer was promoting them, like, come on! They make everything look perfect and unattainable, not real life at all. It's setting unrealistic standards and priorities for the younger generation.

I used to think that way too, like influencers were just all about promoting unrealistic stuff and setting bad examples. But honestly, it's not all black and white. I have teenagers, and sometimes these influencers actually bring up good topics that we can discuss. It's more about guiding our kids on how to see through the nonsense and make their own judgments, you know?

Honestly, I understand the concerns, but social media influencers aren't all bad for kids. Sure, there are some toxic ones, but there are also influencers who promote positivity, mental health awareness, and body positivity. My niece started following this fitness influencer, and it actually motivated her to be more active - so it's not all bad vibes from influencers.

Social media influencers may not be everyone's cup of tea, but saying they're all bad role models for kids? Come on now. I mean, sure, there are some bad apples, but that goes for any group, right? My daughter follows a fitness influencer who promotes a healthy lifestyle - nothing wrong with that!
