Social media is like a double-edged sword, right? I've seen how it messes with my students' heads sometimes. Constant comparison, FOMO, cyberbullying - it's like a mental health minefield out there. Sure, there are positives, but the negative impact? It's real, man.

Totally get where you're coming from! It's tough to watch how social media affects young people's mental health. The struggles with comparison and cyberbullying are no joke.

Totally get where you're coming from, but do you think there's a way to balance the negatives with the positives for a net benefit?

Totally agree on this one. Social media can be like junk food - addicting, but not great for you in large amounts. I've seen friends getting caught up in comparing their lives to others online, trust me, not a recipe for mental health success. Time to put down that phone and savor real life, folks.

100% agree with you! It's so easy to fall into that comparison trap online. Real life is where it's at!

I don't know about you guys, but I've seen social media mess with people's heads firsthand. I mean, constant comparisons, FOMO, the whole deal. It's like a trap sometimes, making us forget real life is where it's at. Mental health is no joke, and I think a break from the socials wouldn't hurt anyone.

Totally agree. Seeing friends stressed over likes and followers is rough. Real life definitely deserves more focus than social media drama.

Man, I totally agree that social media messes with our heads more than it helps. I mean, it's like a never-ending highlight reel of people's lives, right? Makes you forget they're real people dealing with crap too. Can't count the times I've felt sh*t about my own life comparing it to some Insta post. It's toxic, man.

I get that some folks think social media is all doom and gloom for mental health, but come on, it's not all bad. I mean, it's about balance, right? I've found great support and connection online, plus it's not like social media's gonna disappear anytime soon, so might as well find ways to make it work for us.

I get that social media can be a double-edged sword, but saying it's all doom and gloom for mental health is a stretch. I run a small business, and let me tell you, social media has been a game-changer for reaching new customers and getting feedback. It's all about how you use it - moderation and mindfulness, folks!

It's wild to me that people still think social media is all bad for mental health. I get it, it can be a total time suck and make you feel like your life isn't as cool as everyone else's, but come on. I've made legit friends through socials, found awesome communities, and got support during tough times. Like, yeah, it's not all rainbows and butterflies, but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater here.
