Absolutely, smartphones have their benefits, but let's face it - I've seen friends glued to their screens at gatherings, missing out on real conversations. It's like we're physically present but mentally checked out. I miss the days when we'd actually talk, not just scroll through feeds.

I don't buy this whole "smartphones made us zombies" argument. If anything, my phone keeps me connected - I chat with friends, schedule meetups, stay updated on news. It's not like we all suddenly forgot how to have a conversation just because we have Candy Crush on our phones. People need to chill and stop blaming technology for everything.

Smartphones have definitely changed how we interact, but I don't think they've made us disconnected. If anything, I've reconnected with old friends through social media and even strengthened relationships by being able to stay in touch more easily. It's all about how you use the tech, folks!

Interesting perspective! I get where you're coming from, but do you think there might be other ways smartphones could potentially disconnect us that we're overlooking?
