Smartphones making us more disconnected? Absolutely, I'm on board with that. I've seen folks glued to their screens at family gatherings instead of talking to each other. I mean, come on, nothing beats good old face-to-face conversation, am I right?

I totally agree with this. It's like, people are so glued to their screens they forget to look up and have a real conversation. My own family can't even go out to dinner without everyone staring at their phones instead of talking. It's sad, really.

I hear you, it's sad how screens seem to take over sometimes. My friends are guilty of this too, can't even have a movie night without everyone checking their phones every two seconds.

I gotta say, smartphones have their downsides, but come on, they also bring people together in so many ways. I mean, I can video call my buddy across the globe in seconds - that's pretty dang amazing if you ask me. It's not the tech's fault if some folks would rather scroll Insta than chat - that's on them, not the phones.
