Smartphones are making us more disconnected in real life

Man, smartphones are cool and all, but they're turning us into real-life zombies. I mean, instead of chatting with the person next to us, we're all buried in our screens! I've seen families out for dinner, all on their phones - not a word exchanged! It's like we've forgotten how to human without these glowing rectangles.
