I get where this argument is coming from, but let's be real - smartphones actually help me stay connected with my friends and family. I can't always meet up in person, so texting, calling, and FaceTiming keep us close. Plus, social media helps me keep up with what's going on in my community - so I feel more connected, not less, thanks to my phone.
