Smartphones are making us more connected but less present

You know what? I couldn't agree more with this. I live in a small town where everyone used to know each other, but now you go to a cafe, and everyone's just staring at their phones, not talking. It's like we're all in the same place, but not really there. It's kind of sad, to be honest.

Definitely agree with this. I've had meals with friends where everyone's on their phones, not engaging with each other. It's like we're physically there, but mentally somewhere in cyberspace. We gotta remember to put the phones down and actually connect face to face, you know?
