I get it, we all want to feel safe and secure, but come on, at what cost? Giving up our privacy to the government? I can't support that. Look, I believe there are more effective ways to ensure national security without invading our personal lives. Let's not trade away our freedoms so easily.

I get that national security is important, but saying government surveillance is a necessary evil is a bit much for me. Government surveillance might have its place, but calling it a "necessary evil" is a stretch. My neighbor works for the security agency, and the amount of data they collect is staggering. I get the whole national security thing, but there have to be limits, right? Our freedoms matter too, folks.
