Government surveillance is a necessary evil for national security

I get it, nobody wants Big Brother breathing down their neck all the time. But come on, if a little bit of surveillance is gonna keep us safe from crazy stuff happening, I'm all for it. Like, I'd rather someone be peeking at my internet history than deal with a terrorist attack, you know? It's a tough world out there, and sometimes you gotta make sacrifices to stay ahead of the game.
