Compulsory voting should be implemented in all democratic countries

I feel like mandatory voting could really shake things up in a good way. I mean, come on, if you have the right to vote, you should use it, simple as that. Plus, imagine how different things could be if everyone had to have their say. It's like making sure you do your reps at the gym - gotta work those democratic muscles!

I get the idea behind compulsory voting, but come on, we can't force people to do everything. I'd rather see us tackle the reasons why folks aren't voting voluntarily - lack of trust in politicians, feeling their vote won't matter, you name it. Let's work on fixing those issues instead of making voting mandatory.
