College athletes should be paid for their contributions to their schools

Tell me why a student busting their butt on the field, bringing in money and fame to the school, shouldn't see a dime of that profit? Scholarships are great, but let's be real, they don't pay the bills. It's only fair that these athletes get a slice of the pie they're helping bake.
