Businesses should prioritize sustainability over profitability

I feel like this is a bit of a tough one. I totally get the importance of being eco-friendly, but come on, at the end of the day, a business needs to make money to stay afloat. It's all about finding that balance, right? Plus, some companies actually do a lot of good in the world with their profits. So, I'm not fully on board with putting sustainability above all else.

Why do people act like a company can just throw sustainability above everything else? I mean, sure, being eco-friendly is cool and all, but if a business doesn't make money, it’s game over. You can’t save the planet if you can’t keep your doors open, right? Gotta strike a balance, folks.

I get it, we all want to save the planet, but come on, businesses need to make money to survive. We can't just ignore profits and expect everything to be fine. If companies go under 'cause they aren't making money, how does that help anyone or anything? Let's be real here.

I get that sustainability is important, but come on, businesses need profits to survive. If they go bankrupt, there won't be any sustainability to worry about. It's all about finding that balance, not throwing profits out the window for the sake of being green. My uncle's business tried to be all about sustainability, but guess what, they couldn't pay the bills and had to shut down. Prioritizing profitability is just common sense.
