Absolutely agree! The seats are like sardine cans and you have to pay extra for every little thing. I remember flying once with a budget airline and they even charged for water! It's like they want to nickel and dime you for every breath you take. Give me a decent seat and some basic service any day over these budget airline shenanigans. It's a total nightmare.

The 'unbundled' pricing is a scam. By the time you add bags, seats, and avoid the worst options, you've paid normal prices for worse service. It's bait and switch.

Flying used to be civilized. Now it's deliberate misery. They make seats smaller, charge for everything, and create awful conditions hoping you'll pay to escape them.

It's infected legacy carriers too. They all reduced seat pitch and added fees to compete. Budget airlines didn't just make their own flights miserable, they made all flights miserable.

Cancel your flight? Good luck getting help. Budget airlines take no responsibility for anything. You're completely on your own when things go wrong.

The 'golden age of flying' was for rich people only. Middle class families couldn't casually fly anywhere. Comfort declined but access expanded massively.

Everything is disclosed. You know what you're getting. If you don't like Spirit Airlines, don't book Spirit Airlines. There are still full-service options.
