Binge-watching TV shows is a legitimate form of self-care

Let's discuss whether spending hours in front of the TV watching multiple episodes in one sitting can actually be considered a form of self-care or just plain laziness.

I totally agree with this! After a long day dealing with work and taking care of my kids, sometimes all I need is to veg out and watch a few episodes of my favorite show. It's a way to relax, unwind, and just escape from reality for a bit. Self-care isn't always face masks and green smoothies, sometimes it's just kicking back and enjoying some quality TV time.

I get where you're coming from, but wouldn't it be better to find a balance between chilling with a show and maybe doing something that could benefit you in the long run?

I totally agree that binge-watching can be self-care! Sometimes you just need to veg out, have a good cry or laugh with your favorite characters, and escape reality for a bit. It's like comfort food for the soul - no shame in taking some time for yourself and enjoying a good show marathon.

Wait, do you find binge-watching more relaxing than other forms of self-care, or is it just another option for you?

Absolutely, sometimes a good show binge is just what the doctor ordered. It's like a mini mental vacation!
