Absolutely, standardized tests don't measure a student's intelligence accurately. I've seen bright kids freeze up during exams, and that affects their scores. Intelligence is so much more than what a test can show - creativity, problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, all of that doesn't come through in bubbles to fill in.

Huh, never thought about it like that. Do you think there's a better way to measure those aspects you mentioned accurately?

Interesting perspective! Do you think there could be a way to measure those other aspects of intelligence in a standardized way, or is it just too complex to capture?

Standardized tests? Accurate measure of intelligence? Ha! Don't get me started. I've seen my kid stress out over these tests, and let me tell you, they do not define someone's smarts. I mean, intelligence is so much more than bubbling in answers on a piece of paper. It's about creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking - things these tests can't measure.

Totally agree! Standardized tests don't capture the full picture of intelligence. My niece struggled with them, but she's a total whiz at hands-on projects and problem-solving tasks.
