Man, I totally agree. All-inclusive resorts just suck the life out of local businesses. I've been to places where all people see are those fancy resorts and they don't even bother to explore the real community. It's like the rich tourists come in, stay put, and the money never trickles down to the small businesses and local vendors. It's a real shame.

Absolutely agree with this. I've seen it firsthand when I visited Mexico last year - all these big resorts where people just stay in, eat, shop, get entertainment, and hardly ever step outside to explore local spots or support local businesses. It's like a bubble that sucks money away from the community. It's a shame 'cause those local mom-and-pop shops could really use the help.

It's really sad how all-inclusive resorts can just suck the life out of local economies. I went to one once and everything was like a bubble - you never really interact with the actual community. Small businesses suffer big time when all the tourists stay cooped up in these enclosed places, spending all their money there. We gotta remember, these destinations are more than just fancy hotels; real people live and work there, trying to make a living.

Man, I totally agree with this! I've seen it firsthand in my travels - locals pushed out, small businesses struggling. All those tourists staying in their bubbles, not even stepping out to support the community around them. It's a real shame.

Totally agree, mate. I've been to a few places where these all-inclusive resorts are like their own little bubble – people hardly ever venture out to support local restaurants or shops. It's sad 'cause these small businesses are missing out on tourist dollars, and it's not right. Gotta think about the bigger picture here.

All-inclusive resorts aren't the bad guys here, folks. They bring in loads of tourists who spend money in the area - shops, restaurants, activities, you name it. It's not like all those folks would just miraculously show up and spread their cash around equally without the resort drawing them in. Let's give credit where it's due!

Man, I don't buy that all-inclusive resorts are the bad guys here. I live near one and let me tell you, they bring in a ton of tourists that wouldn't come otherwise. Those visitors end up checking out local spots and spreading their cash around town. It's like free advertising for the little guys if you ask me.

I get what you're saying, but sometimes those tourists at all-inclusive resorts hardly venture out, so local businesses lose out on potential customers. It's a tough balance for sure.

Man, I gotta say, I'm not buying it. Look, I've been to places where all they have are these resorts, and trust me, the local vendors are thriving off of them. Tourists staying at these places still venture out, spend money, and support the community. It's not like they're holed up in there 24/7. Let the market do its thing, I say.
