I don't think standardized tests really tell you much about a student. I mean, I've seen kids who struggle with those tests but are seriously smart in other ways. Like, my kid's a hands-on learner, those tests just stress him out but put him in a real-world problem, he's all over it! So yeah, I get why we use them, but they don't show the whole picture, you know?
